Over the years, I’ve learned that working as a therapist is not about healing or guiding. It’s about sitting alongside people as they navigate the ups and downs of their own life journey.
I have a long history of working with disordered eating, chronic dieting, and body-image concerns, but many of the people I work with now aren’t even completely sure what’s wrong. They often just feel like something is missing or they want to alleviate a pain or fear they can’t identify.
Life is a grand mystery and navigating its challenges can often bring us to our knees. Especially if you’re feeling like you're alone in your pain or struggling in ways no one else around you seems to be.
Therapy can help you understand the life experience in new and empowering ways. It allows you to feel less alone while you build the tools and framework you need for navigating life with less suffering and more resilience.
I would love to meet you and hear about your unique story.
